Job Duties and Responsibilities As the Senior Manager of RAN Engineering, Tier 3 Technical Support at DISH, you'll play a pivotal role in the team working on cutting edge technology.
DISH is the first to offer 5G SA network using Open RAN on a hybrid cloud infrastructure.
Your responsibilities include leading and overseeing a team of 5G RAN Ops Managers, potentially also supervising RAN Engineers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the U.
S.
and/or offshore for DISH's Engineering and Operations division.
This role demands strong leadership to steer a technically adept team, crucial for ensuring the delivery and upkeep of Dish's top-tier 5G operational RAN Network.
In this role, you will:
Drive operational excellence for Dish's 5G SA network with Open RAN on hybrid cloud Lead team of 5G RAN Managers and RAN System Engineers in Tier 3 Technical Support and lead the broader team of RAN System Engineers Provide technical support and training to NOC, including NOC Advanced RAN Ops and markets Collaborate with RAN and cloud vendors (AWS, VMware) for Tier-IV product/R&D support Oversee SW deployments, new HW/SW changes, and updates Develop and maintain National MOPS/SOPS for NOC/market SMEs (O&M) Collaborate closely with National teams including RF teams on KPIs, Optimization, and Golden Parameter Configurations, Technology Development, Core, NOC, and Network Engineering Skills, Experience and Requirements As a successful Senior Manage of RAN Technical Support, you will have:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or Telecommunications Engineering (Masters preferred) 15 years of RAN experience, including 5 years managing teams with strategic thinking and self-awareness Proven track record of fostering Operational Excellence Proficiency in RAN technologies:
4G, 5G (SA preferred), VoLTE, VoNR, 3GPP, and ORAN standards Skilled in managing technical teams/SMEs for Engineering Technical Support (MNO experience advantageous) Proficient in ticket tracking services like Jira and ServiceOne Strong troubleshooting abilities to resolve network outages; adept at analyzing wireless networks and equipment, with multitasking capabilities in stressful situations Salary Ranges Compensation:
$127,050.
00/Year - $208,725.

The base pay range shown is a guideline.
Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
