This position is a pivotal part of our office practice.
Our office specializes in comprehensive nephrology services.
We focus on the evaluation and management of all stages of chronic kidney disease and associated care for related disorders.

Position Overview:
This is a hands-on, full-time position with day-to-day duties that include overseeing and managing the daily operations of our clinical site, such as greeting and receiving patients and visitors, assisting with scheduling appointments, and patient registration.
In a lead position, the person in this role is expected to train, mentor, and supervise the front office staff in their duties.
This role must be performed courteously and professionally with a patient-first mindset that allows for exceptional client care.
This role is critical to ensuring a smooth, positive, patient-focused environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

50/ hour What are the Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities of the position? Leadership and Supervision:
Lead, mentor and train a team of clinic staff, providing guidance and support.
Train and orient new clinic staff to organizational policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and counseling to staff.
Act as a liaison between staff, providers, building management, outside vendors, and with other practices.
Supervise front office as well as time and attendance reporting.
Review payroll as necessary, submit payroll.
Patient-Centered Operations:
Manage and perform registration, financial counseling, telephone answering, and patient billing activities greeting patients and scheduling future appointments.
Oversee patient demographics and insurance eligibility.
Ensure patients complete necessary forms.
Facilitate effective communication between clinic staff, providers, and patients.
Administrative
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.
Coordinate administrative requests and equipment needs.
Ensure the clinic remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
Order necessary supplies and equipment for efficient clinic operation.
Manage the revenue cycle.
Communication and Customer Service:
Represent the organization with patients, addressing their questions and concerns.
Foster positive patient relations and professionalism among clinic staff.
Provide timely organizational information and seek input from providers and staff.
Actively participate in meetings and disseminate organizational updates.
Other duties as assigned Education and Experience Needed:
High school diploma, or equivalent is required.
Associate degree in healthcare services administration or related field of study is preferred.
CMS Credentials are preferred.

years of supervisory experience in healthcare, business, insurance, or administrative office.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is highly preferred.
(Currently using Amazing Charts) Experience using virtual fax office software is preferred (UPDOX) Knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and billing is required.
Skills working with managing basic office machines; phones, computers, printers, fax machines.

Professional Association of Health Care Office Management (PAHCOM) is preferred.
Excellent customer service with external patients and internal staff members.
Excellent computer skills; typing, scheduling software.
Basic math skills The work hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:
30 am - 5 pm, with the expectation that the role will need to be in the office before 8:
30 am to ensure the office is ready for patient's arrival.
