Applicants will not be considered for this position without any Construction AR/AP experience.
This position is very focused on Accounts Receivable experience.
What you will be doing:
Daily production of invoices and collection of customer payments with an emphasis on timely and accurate invoicing Daily collection of handwritten work orders with a reconciliation against customer invoices Making collections calls as necessary Receive, process, and create purchase orders as needed for area managers Accounts payable and accounts receivable duties including issuing purchase orders, matching purchase orders with invoices closing out purchase orders timely, entering bills and monitoring/following-up on both vendor and customer aging as necessary Issue insurance certificates to all customers timely Execution of lien waivers as required Office Management duties such as ordering office supplies, copier/phone maintenance support calls Assisting the Controller and VP of Finance and Administration with the month-end close process as necessary Other duties as assigned Skills and Knowledge Prior Construction or Landscaping AR/AP billing experience required for this position Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume work environment Ability to work with our field personnel with daily work orders Residential maintenance billing a big plus including SOV's Strong Microsoft Excel skills Professional written and verbal communication Strong interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills Acute attention to detail Ability to think independently Enthusiastic team player demonstrating a commitment to company vision and mission Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work in an environment with constantly changing priorities Education and/or Experience High School diploma or equivalent 2-3 years of accounts payable/receivable experience, or equivalent experience Benefits Dental insurance Vision insurance Health insurance Disability insurance Paid time off and six Holidays Weekly Pay Work Location:
