Eligibility

4. Continuous sustained improvement is demonstrated.

Position Summary
Responsible for receiving phone calls and fax requests to schedule patients for outpatient tests. Complete pre-registration of scheduled
patients, and ensure a valid provider order is obtained.
Education Requirements (i.e., BSN, High School Diploma, GED)
High School graduate or equivalent
Preferred: 1-3 years previous Patient Scheduling or Patient Access experience
Work Experience
Professional customer service, professional telephone skills, communication skills, knowledge of computer systems and typing skills.
Preferred: Office experience in a healthcare environment, medical terminology, knowledge of CPT/ICD-9 codes, ability to multitask and
prioritization skills.
